Normandy gained the early advantage putting Cleveland Heights in a position where it had to chase the match. Heights answered without allowing the opening goal to dictate the rest of the night, finding an equalizer before adding two more goals to take control.

Parker Polk, Adrian Sedra and Eddie Romanin supplied the scoring for Cleveland Heights. Between them, the three defenders produced all three goals, giving the Tigers an unusual source of attacking production and turning defensive players into the difference-makers at the other end of the field.
