Cleveland Heights scored all six of its goals in the first half, using the early barrage to earn a 6-1 victory over Normandy High School on Saturday night at Denison Park. The Tigers produced contributions throughout the attack, and their six-goal opening half supplied the decisive separation.

Auri Langan led the scoring effort with a hat trick and also contributed an assist, accounting for four of the Tigers’ six goals as either a scorer or facilitator. The three-goal performance set the pace for an attack that repeatedly converted its chances before halftime.

Cece Leach added two goals, including one of the match’s most skillful finishes. After making a cutback inside the penalty area, Cece Leach chipped the ball over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net. The combination of control, awareness and touch highlighted Cleveland Heights’ productive night in front of goal.

Captain Sierra Terman completed the Tigers’ scoring with a long free kick into the upper 90. Normandy managed one goal, but Cleveland Heights’ defense limited the visitors beyond that and protected the advantage created by the six-goal first half.
