The Tigers travel to Canton Saturday, September 6th to participatin the Hall of Fame Classic. They take on the Canton McKinley Bulldogs. Kickoff is set for 7pm from Tom Benson Stadium.
This years Hall of Fame Classic marks the innagural year of the event. All teams participating have an alumni of their high school who has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Tigers earned the invite via Heights alum Tom Mack 62'. Mack was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999. After Graduating from Heights High Mack went on to play for the University of Michigan. After starring at Michigan Mack was drafted in the 1st round (2nd overall) by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1966 NFL Draft. Mack played his entire 12 year career with the Rams. During that time Mack was selected All-Pro 4x, Second Team All-Pro 4x and was an 11x Pro-Bowler.
