Brock Mueller converted Harry Tugeau’s assist for the match’s only goal, and Cleveland Heights protected the narrow advantage to earn a 1-0 Greater Cleveland Conference victory over Brunswick on Tuesday night. The win gave the Tigers an important result away from home and rewarded a complete defensive performance.

Mueller and Tugeau combined on the decisive attacking sequence. Tugeau provided the setup, and Mueller supplied the finish to put Cleveland Heights ahead. With neither side producing another goal, their connection stood as the difference in a tightly contested conference match.

The Tigers’ defense made the lead hold up by keeping Brunswick off the scoreboard. Cleveland Heights remained steady while protecting the one-goal margin and prevented the Blue Devils from finding an equalizer. The shutout was especially important in a match that left no room for a defensive mistake.

The Tigers will return to action on the road against Berea-Midpark on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at 2 p.m. EDT. Cleveland Heights will look to carry forward the same combination of timely finishing and disciplined defense that produced the victory over Brunswick.
